I've finally got round to putting the Woodlands Scenics 'Realistic Tree' kits together I bought a while a go. First up we see a bare forest...
After a quick spray with a mixture of brown and olive green I applied the foliage and the conifers now look like this...
Not too bad I think - a little bit of tidying up to do but they look OK and it didn't take long.
The second board now has a coating of flock - didn't manage to do the whole board as I ran out of one of the colours. I'm also in the process of painting the board edges black as can be seen. Still not convinces whether the road is the right colour though or if it's too light.
Finally the bridge for the left hand board is having some paint. It's the standard Wills job - was originally going to paint a cream in the middle of the railings but I've decided that's too fiddly so it's maroon all round.
