Another stage further - the rocks are now coloured and I've started assembling the bridge. Next step is will be to tidy the edges up with some black paint.

Plastered for the final time

After returning from Ally Pally this evening I've put a coat of PVA, Polyfilla and brown paint over the two final boards. Just need it to all dry out and then it will be time to tidy the sides up with some black paint before putting the various flock colours on.

Nearly there

The final layer of modroc is on and the last board is starting to look much closer to what I'm wanting! Just got to make up some rocks using Woodlands Scenics plaster moulds to add in and then it will be time to cover in a Polyfilla/PVA mix once it's all dried out. Could be a while in this weather though - away at the weekend in Glasgow so hopefully a good chance for this to happen.

All gone green

Yet another long gap between getting things done! The ballasting around the platform has finally been completed although there are a few places that will still need touching up. The final two boards have both had their base coat of green flock as well now - ballast next stage...
