Looking back at my (almost!) complete lack of posting, I started building the road almost a year ago - finally this evening I've got round to extending it!
Naturally as I was making the 'u'-bend out of two pieces of hardboard due to its shape and size they didn't meet once glued and screwed in. A bit of plaster will sort that out - the road will end up with some form of surface on it anyway.
There's a bit more bracing of it that can go in underneath once the glue is set and the screws need countersinking but finally I can get the chicken wire and plaster bandages out again and tackle the third board.
