Well, other things have taken up my time recently so I haven't had made much progress until today. A trip out to the DIY store meant I now have the wood for the legs and spent the early evening with a saw and chisel making them up.
There will be four in total - each made up of two 44mm x 44m uprights with 44mm x 20mm cross bracing. There will also be two 44mm x 20mm beams across the length to support the middle joint - as it's designed to go over a bed, I can't have a central support. They will each have adjustable feet from Station Road Baseboards.
Tomorrow will hopefully see the final board built up, the legs finished and a start on the cross bracing.
