Two new arrivals this week:
1. Arduino board
Plywood at the ready for building the rest of the boards. I have it all planned out - plywood is cut to a variety of heights to make it easier. Just need the time to find out if my plan works...
1. Arduino board
This is a board that provides 51 digital inputs and outputs and is programmable - it was suggested by a forum member at RMWeb that I should look at using it for my interlocking rather than hardwiring it as per my original plan. Cost a little over £10 on eBay - bargain!
Just waiting for some other bits to turn up such as an LCD display, the intention is that this will drive the signals and the point buttons will also be operated via it, eliminating the need for a diode matrix.
